People applying for remote work deserve clear information and a safe process. This page sets out the standards CareerBex keeps in its adverts, on this site and in its conversations with applicants.
It is a summary. Our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy give the full detail, and they take priority if anything here seems to differ.
We only promote roles that employers actually have available. We do not publish pay promises, made-up statistics, star ratings or placement numbers. If one of our adverts and this site do not match, we correct the one that is wrong.
CareerBex never takes money from applicants. There are no deposits, starter packs, training costs, credits or top-ups. We will not ask you for passwords, security codes or access to online banking.
Ask the employer for its terms in writing before you begin: who the business is, what the role involves, the rate of pay and when payment is made. HR can describe the role in general on WhatsApp, but the employer's written terms are what you should rely on.
Adults living anywhere in Australia can apply for the roles we list. We do not exclude anyone because of their race, religion, sex, sexuality, disability, age or any similar characteristic.
If you need information in another format, or would like extra help during training, tell HR and we will work out what we can do.
Each role begins with online training, and HR is available on WhatsApp while you go through it. Nobody is expected to start work before they are ready.
We expect employers to describe their roles accurately, to pay what they have agreed and to treat applicants respectfully. When a complaint about an employer is made, we look into it, and we stop introductions to that employer if the concern is found to be valid.
Real messages from CareerBex come from the WhatsApp number shown on this site or from an email address ending in @careerbex.com. We will not ask you to install unfamiliar apps, pay through a link or share your screen. If you receive a request like that, do not respond, and let us know.
We handle personal information in line with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles.
If an advert, a message or a role does not look right to you, email careers@careerbex.com with as much detail as you can. Reports are read by a team member, not filtered by software, and we write back with the outcome.
The photos and descriptions on this site give a general picture of home-based work. The people pictured are not particular employers or applicants. When a role changes, we update the site.
If you are unsure whether a message, an advert or a request really comes from CareerBex, ask us before you act on it. Write to careers@careerbex.com or message HR on the number shown on this site, and we will confirm whether it is genuine. Checking first is always the safer choice, and nobody on our team will mind the question.
We review this page whenever our process changes, and at least once a year. Each update is shown by the date at the top.
