careerbex.com is run by CareerBex of Nambucca Heads, New South Wales. These terms apply whenever you use the site or contact us through it. Using the site means you accept them; if you do not, please stop using it.
The terms are the same however you found us, whether through an advert, a search engine or a friend.
“CareerBex”, “we” and “us” refer to our business. “You” refers to anyone who visits the site or applies through it. “Employer” refers to a separate business that offers a role and pays for the work done in it.
CareerBex is a recruitment service. We introduce applicants to employers and do not employ applicants ourselves. Filling in the form, messaging HR or using the site does not make you an employee or contractor of CareerBex.
The roles on this site are remote part-time and full-time positions offered by independent employers. Openings come and go, and a role can be filled or changed before you are introduced.
What you read on the site is a general outline. HR gives you more detail on WhatsApp, and the employer confirms the specifics in writing. Details can differ from one employer to the next.
An introduction is a first conversation, not a job offer, and the choice of who to hire rests with the employer alone.
To apply, you send the form on our homepage and then message HR on WhatsApp. WhatsApp opens with a message ready, but it is only sent when you press send. If you are unable to use WhatsApp, write to careers@careerbex.com and we will continue the application by email.
CareerBex does not ask applicants for money at any point. That includes application payments, deposits, starter kits, training costs, credits or coins, account top-ups, and payments to unlock work or to release pay. If someone asks you to pay in our name, they are not from CareerBex, and we would like to hear about it.
The employer decides the pay, hours and other conditions of each role. Before starting, ask the employer to confirm in writing its registered business name, what the work involves, the rate of pay, the expected hours and the dates you will be paid.
Our adverts, our website and our messages should match. If you notice a difference between an advert and this site, please tell us, and we will correct whichever one is wrong.
How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Please do not use the site in a way that harms it or other people. That includes trying to break its security, copying it with automated tools, or using it to send spam or harmful content.
Please give us accurate details about yourself and do not pretend to be someone else. Do not try to find out information about other applicants. Anyone who treats our team abusively may have their application closed.
The words, images, graphics and design of careerbex.com belong to CareerBex or are used under licence. You are welcome to view and share pages for personal, non-commercial purposes.
Parts of our service depend on outside providers, including Cloudflare, Waformly, WhatsApp and Meta. Your use of those services is covered by their own terms and policies, and we do not control how they operate.
Our HR team works through WhatsApp messages in the order they arrive and answers each one as promptly as it can. Replies can take longer on public holidays and during busy periods. We ask that conversations stay polite, and our team will be polite in return.
We work to keep the site online and accurate, but it may sometimes be unavailable or contain errors. We may change, pause or remove parts of the site at any time.
Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.
To the extent the law allows, CareerBex is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss that arises from using the site or from decisions made by an employer. If the law does not let us exclude a liability, our responsibility is capped at providing the service to you a second time.
If we find a mistake on the site, we correct it promptly. Neither side is held to a plainly obvious error.
Please keep your details accurate, let us know if your contact information changes, and think carefully about any offer before accepting it.
You are responsible for the security of your phone and WhatsApp account, for the device and internet connection you use, and for any tax that applies to pay you receive from an employer.
CareerBex is not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as an outage at a provider we rely on, a natural disaster or a widespread network failure.
You can stop your application whenever you wish by telling HR or by emailing us. We may close an application if the details provided are not accurate or if the role is no longer available. Any part of these terms that is meant to continue, such as the limits on liability, still applies after that.
If a court finds that any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest of the terms remain in effect.
These terms, our Privacy Policy and our Compliance page together form the whole agreement between you and CareerBex about the use of the site.
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales. You and CareerBex submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the courts that hear appeals from them.
We send notices to the email address or WhatsApp number you used to contact us. You can send notices to us at careers@careerbex.com.
We may update these terms from time to time. This page always shows the version in force and the date it took effect. Please send any questions to careers@careerbex.com.
